Hi! I’m Victoria Hackett M.Ed.!

I’m the founder of Outdoor-Classrooms.com and I’m so excited to begin this new journey with you and want to welcome you as a Founding Member of THE CIRCLE.

Since launching Outdoor-Classrooms.com 6 years ago, I have inspired educators to create their own one-of-a-kind outdoor classrooms while cultivating nature-based curriculum all on a shoe-string budget. I support and serve educators through this journey with 1-Hour Virtual Workshops, an Outdoor Teaching Bootcamp, a Membership Community, and a variety of Master Classes. Within each of these experiences, I blend theory with hands-on problem-solving techniques, true-to-life anecdotes, valuable tips, and lively participation. My extensive experience as a consultant/trainer/mentor and background as a Natural Teacher allows me to bring profound knowledge and a pragmatic approach to every learning experience I offer.

My interest in the power of gardens traces back to my favorite book growing up – “The Secret Garden” by Francis Hodgson, but my Outdoor Classroom story didn’t start until 13 years ago when I facilitated the transformation of an old neglected courtyard, at my children’s school, into a beautiful Outdoor Classroom.

It was this experience that catapulted me into the world of nature-based education and led me to serve educators from all over the world through Outdoor-Classrooms.com. Over time, I began to realize that there IS a system; a proven path to building a successful outdoor classroom. Whatever your outdoor teaching goals may be, whether it’s transforming an outdoor space, getting outdoors, teaching and learning outdoors, dealing with challenging weather, and/or sustaining your outdoor classroom program, it’s hard to take action on those big things when it feels like you don’t know what you are doing and feel all alone.

And that is exactly what THE CIRCLE: Our Membership Community is all about.

It takes a village to raise a child and our international Circle of Educators will get you to where you want to be.
