Hi Victoria,
Loved the workshop. I have used some of these ideas at a school I worked at for many years. I am transitioning to a new school that hasn’t really done too much of this before. So hearing the ideas and presentation of materials is very helpful. Love the gathering and sorting of sticks, making letters or numbers for counting. An art or building project with the sticks is great as well.
I love the mailbox outside to store the library books!
We have brought books in a basket outside and laid down a blanket for the kids to sit and read which is like a cozy corner but outside. The mailbox just takes it to another level!
I look forward to more workshops and I think I will order your seeds of inspiration cards!
Take care,
Nancy
Another informative workshop. I am looking forward to including many nature loose parts into a program.

Thank you very much, Victoria! Loved a lot of the information presented and will incorporate some of the ideas in our outside classroom. I especially liked the “Music Wall”, the mailbox library and the stick dolls. I like to use recyclable items-free and abundant. Thank you, again.
My take always are regarding storage, introducing one item at a time, mirroring our indoor classroom outdoors. I love the idea of students taking ownership for where and how items are put away. I also really am excited about pairing loose parts with curriculum.
Wonderful!
