Loved all the ideas on Pinterest. A successful mud kitchen can be as simple or as involved as one wants to make it.
YES!!!
Hi!
I am very excited to take our Mud Kitchen to the next level..
We started last year with just wooden creates, donated pots and pans and lots of dirt.
The children loved the=is area so much we doubled the size this year. I love all the pinterest ideas, especially the Reggio.
Playing in the mud brings back a lot of childhood memories. As the Director, I am not directly with the children for any extended time-however, this makes me want to designate time in our Outdoor Classroom each week.
hi, I am happy to get started at last! I was glad to find that I have a lot of the materials needed, and have started collecting what I am missing. The pinterest board has so many great ideas that it was easy to find ten to incorporate. This is going to be fun!
Yea! Thrilled that you are here. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I need to see my environment from a new perspective, I have been teaching in it for over 15 years. I want it to be new and fresh to me as well as my kids.
I read, draw, take classes and observe my kids to inspire me as a teacher.
I absolutely love this! A perfect time of year for renewal. I hope you will find many new ideas that you can implement that will offer a sense of wonder, creativity, and learning.
I love our mud kitchen, however the parents at the school do not. I would love to be able to convince parents that getting dirty is ok!How do I inspire our parents?
Hi Kelly! I was inspired by your question and used it as a prompt for next weeks “Muddy Note #2” I have noted some tips for getting parents on board with messy play and Mud Kitchens. Great question! Keep them coming.
I am so excited to journey through this course. I have implemented a mud kitchen but it needs to revamped. We have too many kitchen materials and not enough ingredients to “cook” with. I also would love to brainstorm ideas to include new participants. It seems like the same children are involved while other consistently pass by.
Welcome Anne! Thrilled to see you here! Please let me know if you have any questions. Lot’s of goodness ahead!
