      My Take Aways:
      1. To set up a pine cone investigation station and connecting the idea to our Weather PBL.
      2. To make outdoor kits with bags, a journal, pencil, magnifying glass or peak through
      3. Bark rubbings from different kinds of trees on our school property

I have so many ideas to continue our explorations outside! Thank you!

      My take-aways:
      1. Order 2 of those great books mentioned. Check others out of library for review.
      2. Start an ABC nature photo collection of the shapes of letters.
      3. Do leaf breathing experiment with class and explore more about functions of a leaf.
Can’t wait to add these ideas and more to my plans! Thank you!

        My future plans:
        1. I will set aside a place in the classroom for the ‘Pinecone Weather Station” and will try the pinecone in water experiment!
        2. I will order a few of the anchor texts mentioned in the workshop.
3, Complete the leaf breathing experiment and also leaf observation activity.
        4. Plan the ‘cookie” activity as a transition from the “All about Me” unit we start the year with to our second unit of study “Nature at Renbrook”
