I’m realizing I want to focus my efforts on outdoor learning stations. I went to our town recycling station and guess what I found—– fencing for a weaving wall and for hanging saucepans near by a mud kitchen.

So many different gardens to explore so many different concepts and of course it isn’t just math that is involved in these gardens as the children are exploring. There is sensory exploration, cognitive, physical, social emotional, social studies, and I am sure many more areas depending on what you put in it and how you choose to use it.

All these units are so fun, I’m most excited to introduce the miniature garden to my class, also thinking this would be a fun unit to do inside the classroom during the colder months, with some natural and man made elements.
