5 Things that made me smile this week
Oh! My goodness…it has been crazy weather-wise around here in Massachusetts! Snow, pouring rain, and peaks of Sun every now and again. I am not sure is Spring is ever going to arrive.

This week I have been totally absorbed with creating the More than Mud Pies: Making a Mud Kitchen e-Course! I am thrilled with how it is coming out and can’t wait to share it with you. I have been creating a Mud Kitchen in my Outdoor Classrooms Learning Lab and trying out some of the elements myself. I love, love, love how it is coming out! Coming Soon! Stay tuned!!

A new book on My Nightstand! Freedom Seeker is an invitation to fly. I love the Freedom Keys and incredibly inspiring stories that go with them. Beth Kempton’s Freedom Seeker is an amazing read, especially for a solo-mamaprenuer, like me. Getting ready to take off and inspire Natural Teachers all over the world!

It can be super isolating running an on-line business. Therefore, I am making a conscious effort to get out and meet folks in the field. I went to visit The Change Is Simple program at my children’s old school. They had a couple of programs going on at the same time the day I visited.
This lower picture was an exercise about how far fresh food has to travel to get to us. Fantastic curriculum!
If you have a program that is local to Beverly, Ma. I would love to take a field trip, come visit and learn what you are doing. Just email at victoria@outdoor-classrooms.com

I have started running again. If you didn’t know, I used to run the Boston Marathon every year (11 total) as a bandit back in the day. With the weather so crazy, I have opted to run at the YMCA on the treadmill. I was so happy to find the “trails” button and found myself running in New Zealand! Love it! I am only up to 2 miles.

Gearing up for our Bees to arrive!! Yea!! Last year my son asked if he could get a bee hive for his birthday. I told him he could, but he would have to take a beekeeping class. He and I both attended a class together! Our bees did not survive the first season. So we are excited to try again this season.
Have a great week everyone!
Onward,
Victoria
