Boston 2016 Flower & Garden Show

Inspired by the decorated beehives, whimsical birdhouses, creative signs, and calming stone art at MA Horticultures Nature’s Classrooms display. All these natural elements brought a sense of wonder and had my curiosity tapped. Enjoy!

Miniature Gardens by various Master Gardeners

Stones, moss, succulents, sticks and shells were the ingredients for these miniature gardens. My imagination went wild. Storytelling with miniature gardens is a perfect Literacy Outdoors Projects.

These miniature gardens are so beautiful. I picture the children playing for hours as fairies and with nature made fairies. We took a spin off this idea to create a terrarium for our dinosaur theme. We started it in the winter so it was for our indoor enjoyment but it would take on different play outside in our outdoor classroom.
